Poster Designing Competition for school and college students on “Snake Conservation”
Since 2018, International Snakebite Awareness Day (ISBAD) has been commemorated on September 19, representing an opportunity for us all to raise awareness of one of the world’s biggest hidden health crises. However, the conservation of snakes is as important as the prevention of snakebites. Steps should be taken to mitigate human-snake conflict that would result in decreased snakebite events and conserve snakes at the same time. This year the Poisons Information Centre at Christian Medical College, Vellore presents a Poster designing competition to commemorate International Snakebite Awareness Day based on the theme “Snake Conservation.”
