In its Departmental News publication titled “Novel approaches to empower Indian communities in their fight against snakebite envenoming”, the World Health Organisation showcases initiatives of CMC Poison Centre in empowering village communities with regard to snakebite prevention and first aid. The special publication was made on the occasion of the 5th international snakebite awareness day, commemorated on 19-09-2022.
